Health Reimbursement Account
What is an HRA?
HRA stands for Health Reimbursement Account. Your HRA combines healthcare and pharmacy coverage with an account funded by Goodwill. Goodwill offers 2 medical plans, compatible with an integrated HRA through Cigna and you can choose from 3 different networks.
Your HRA will be used to pay 100% of your eligible, covered health care expenses until the money is used up. The HRA fund amounts that Goodwill provides depends on which healthcare option you choose (Options 5, 6 and 7) and if it is for an individual or family.
The HRA is easy to use and is combined with your Cigna medical plan (Options 5, 6 and 7). No separate debit card is needed!
When receiving medical services, such as going to a doctor's office, lab, clinic, urgent care, etc., or picking up a prescription, hand your Cigna Insurance card to your provider. The provider can then view your balance in their system and bill Cigna directly.
Once all your funds have been used, you will be responsible for the balance if the medical service was not covered in full by your HRA funds.
To check your HRA balance, make sure to sign up for a member account on www.mycigna.com. For additional questions on how the HRA works, email the Goodwill Benefits department or call 602-535-4100, option 3.
Remember, any HRA funds you did not use during 2024 may be rolled over to 2025 (not to exceed the individual deductible) and added to Goodwill s annual contribution if you re-enroll in the medical plan. This will reduce your share of the deductible even more in the 2025 plan year.
