Should you become disabled due to an off-the-job injury or illness, and you cannot work, disability insurance "protects" a portion of your weekly income It can help protect your finances and give you some comfort when you need it the most.

With the Goodwill voluntary Short-Term Disability insurance, you have the option to cover 40% or 60% of your weekly income.

The cost of this voluntary benefit is based on your age and your weekly income.

Should you waive this voluntary benefit when you are first eligible for benefits, and then enroll at the next open enrollment period, you will need to answer medical questions before being approved.
